One of my biggest struggles is taming my snack addiction. I specifically have a love for anything crunchy, and potato chips are my weakness! I'm that person who needs to avoid the snack aisle in an effort to ensure I won't be found on my couch devouring an entire bag! It's a problem people! I wanted to whip something up that achieved the crunch of a potato chip, but also wouldn't make me feel greasy and icky afterwords.
I attempted these apple chips on a recent day off, and was hooked! They were sweet and sour from the green apples I used, and the cinnamon wasn't so bad either! I'm not saying we all need to swear off of potato chips (don't be ridiculous..). I'm just saying you must try these! Don't get discouraged if these don't come out perfect your first time. You really need make sure these babies are cut very thin so that they will crisp up. Remember, thinner=crispier! So get off your couch and to your kitchen, you have some chips to bake!
