Candy Bouquet

SCHOOL’S OUT PEOPLE! Who do you think is more excited for the last day of school? The students or teachers? I love my students and all, but anyone who works in a school environment knows that sometimes distance makes the heart grow fonder.

To treat some special people I work with, I made these adorable Candy Bouquets to show some appreciation for their hard work!

These bouquets are made up of delicious candy treats, and are flat out adorable! They have a major wow-factor and instantly put a smile on anyone’s face! The bouquets take a few minutes to put together, but are so worth it in the end! A giant excited smile is one of my favorite reactions when baking or giving gifts, and these bouquets helped provide that. These are great to bring to someone's house, or give as a gift for any occasion! And come on, what better way to begin summer vacation than pounding your favorite candy?

Supplies

1 large vessel such as a glass cup or mason jar

1 Family size pack of M&M candy or other small candy morsels such as jelly beans.

Ribbon

Tape

Wooden skewers or lollipop sticks

Assortment of your favorite candy in different shapes and sizes

Directions

1.Fill your vessel halfway with whatever small candy morsels of your choice (I used M&Ms).

2. Begin to tape your wooden skewers to the back of your assorted candy that will be used as your “flowers” for the bouquet. Once finished, begin to arrange the skewered candy in your cup,and then fill the cup the rest of the way with more candy to keep the skewers sturdy*.

3.Add a ribbon around your glass and deliver to that special someone!

*Some candies may be heavier than others, so you can put two skewers on the back of it to keep the candy in place.
