Berry Smoothie Bowl

Morning everyone! I'm headed back to work today after being on spring break. When I woke up this morning I had trouble getting back into the mindset of that daily grind. To get me pumped and ready I put together this fantastic smoothie bowl to keep me full and energized for the crazy day ahead of me. My bowl includes a berry smoothie base, but the best part about this breakfast is the toppings! I'm obsessed with toasting nuts and oats to bring out their natural flavors, and the fruit is delicious and sweet on top as well! I also love how versatile this can be. Depending on what fruit and veggies you have around, you can change this up to your liking. Head over to your kitchen and whip one of these up, I guarantee you won't regret it!

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 7-10 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup frozen or fresh berries*

1/8 cup oats

1 banana

splash of almond milk

Toppings: banana slices, blueberries, toasted oats, toasted pecans, mint leaves

Directions

1. In a blender add the fruit, oats, banana, and splash of milk. Blend together and pour into desired bowl or cup

2. Add desired toppings, dig in and enjoy!

*Or any other desired fruit choice!
